Job Descriptions
- Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished beverages.
- Utilize laboratory instruments and equipment to conduct tests according to standard procedures.
- Prepare and analyze samples to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
- Identify and report any deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with production staff to implement corrective actions and improvements.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory environment.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a quality control laboratory, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality control principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software for data entry and analysis.
